Hey hey Luc en Lars, hier een berichtje vanuit mij en Daan!❤️ We ontmoeten elkaar bij duikschool impian divers op Koh Tao, waar we samen de driedaagse cursus open water begonnen! We raakte gezellig aan de praat en vonden het heel leuk dat we samen met jullie de duikoefeningen mochten doen🤿. Ik en Daan voelde al vrijwel meteen een klik! We hebben super veel geleerd daar tijdens onze lessen en ook hele leuke gesprekken op de boot samen gehad😃. Ook nog wat grappige momenten toen Luc en Pleun van pak hadden gewisseld en Luc in maatje xs te water wilde gaan😅…. Of toen helaas Luc zeeziek werd wat minder grappig was🥴.We waren stiekem allemaal een beetje zenuwachtig voor de oefeningen onderwater, maar daarom was het heerlijk om van te voren even lekker een luchtig gesprekje met jullie te hebben😁.We waren allemaal helemaal verliefd geworden op het duiken en de onderwaterwereld🤩🐠🤿.Wij besloten dan ook nog wat langer om op Koh Tao te blijven en gelukkig spraken we nog gezellig daarna af om in Koh Phangan lekker een avondje uit te gaan💃🏽! We leren Luc, Lars en Sebas even wat Brabantse gezelligheid is 🥂en daarbij spelen we natuurlijk een potje toepen🃏.Daarna scheiden onze wegen helaas😕 en gingen wij door naar andere plekken en jullie vervolgende jullie reis naar Laos😍. Jammer dat we jullie verder tijdens onze reis niet meer hebben gezien, maar wij zijn zeker in voor nog een drankje in NL🇳🇱🍹! Dikke knuffels, Pleun en Daan❤️

Hi Luc, Bedankt voor de leuke tijd in Vietnam samen met Lars. Dit was voor mij de eerste solo reis en super blij jullie ontmoet te hebben en zo een deel van mijn onvergetelijke reis heb mogen meemaken met jullie! Als jullie weer terug in Nederland zijn dan zeker een keer motorrijden!

I met Luca at a home stay in Sa Pa when I was travelling with my mum. Luca was with his friend Lars, and we all got along so quickly. We all started drinking and they taught me and my mum so many new card games and we had so much fun!! We will never forget meeting them and we hope to see them again on our future travels ☺️

It was so good to meet you, also seeing you and your friend travel together, you guys had "brother from another mother" vibes 😊 thank you for being so friendly to me, may you go on more and more adventures!

The Ha Giang Loop was honestly such a good memory. I remember that moment when we were all riding together through the mountains. The roads were full of crazy turns, sometimes a bit stressful, but we stayed together, waited for each other, and stopped every few kilometers just to check in. The views were unreal, but what made it even better was just doing it as a group. And that night when we got to the guesthouse after hours on the road we were exhausted, dusty, but in such a good mood. We ate together and drink together, and sing together also. It was just a really solid experience good people, good vibes, and an adventure that felt straight out of a movie

Het was onwijs gezellig die paar avondjes in Bangkok. Leuk om elkaar daarna ook nog in Ao Nang te zijn tegen gekomen. Vergeet niet meer dat jullie maat er helemaal klaar mee was bij Railay beach haha

Meeting yourself and Lars on my trek through the villages of Sapa in Northern Vietnam was a highlight of our trip. I will remember our night of drinking beer, playing cards, listening to music, laughing and sharing stories fondly. It’s been awesome keeping in touch with you to share travel stories and the horrors of Australian wildlife. If you ever travel to Australia, I will be your personal travel guide! Safe travels my friend from the Netherlands!

To the one who helped me finding my SD card in the middle of Hanoi 🫶🏻 definitely meeting you and Larsh was one of my trip highlights, i enjoyed every moment spent together and i’m so happy we managed to keep in touch after! I really hope we meet again and i’m waiting for you in Romania for a classic experience haha! More than that, i really wish you all the best in life!

My favourite part about travelling, other than exploring a new country are the good people I meet along the way. There is a kind of bond you meet with other travellers that is distinct from our immediate social groups back home. Someone might be from a different country, speak a foreign language or eat foods you find unique but we all come together as people taking on a new journey. These are the moments that make us rich and laugh in the face of adversity as it tries to rob us of the limited time we have. Luc, you are good people. It was a pleasure meeting you and Lars at the Old Quarter hostel in Vietnam. I hope you never lose this itch for learning about the world and remain curious about the people, animals and precious environment around us. Cheers my friend 🍻

I was very happy to meet Luc, because he was friendly and respectful, because when we met I was doing an annual routine from my campus, and there he patiently waited for his turn to go in, and that's where I invited him to talk to my friend who couldn't speak English, where at that time my English was as good as an English person, Luc is a person who likes to travel, and he told me he had traveled to several countries and when I asked which one do you think is good and he answered INDONESIA, since then we have been friends

I had so much fun while we're exploring Prambanan temple and also don't forget the Pisang Goreng! Like.. y'all so kind and so FUN to hang out with. Tho we met for pretty short time but the memories will always live rent-free in my head. And i wish u guys tons of luck, and enjoyy the traveling!
